IRON325: Low Density, non-flowing Super Fine Iron Powder
RON325 is an exceptionally fine, low-density iron powder produced directly from high-grade iron ore through a high-temperature, hydrogen-reduction process. Because of its ultra-small particle size and non-flowing characteristics, this powder is widely used as a magnetic pigment and in powder metallurgy for creating precision sintered components.
Common Uses of IRON325
IRON325 is suitable for a wide range of industrial and specialty applications, including:
- Soft magnetic composite materials
- Chemical and catalytic processes
- Magnetic inks, coatings, and specialty paints
- Forensic fingerprint powders
- Metal clay formulations
- Magnetic media for electromagnetic devices (e.g., tension-controlled brakes and clutches)
Availability Notice
Production of IRON325 was discontinued in 2021. However, alternative or equivalent ultra-fine iron powders may be available depending on your technical requirements. Contact Chemical Store to receive guidance and application-specific recommendations.
